I am the Director of Information Technology and Information Security Officer for an ecommerce / retail company in Silicon Valley, California. I’m not content unless I’m up to my eyes in technology – forever searching out the next challenge – always working at the very razor edge of technology – pushing the limits daily on a vertical curve, and I wouldn’t have it any other way – stress is my friend, my sanity, a constant that will keep me moving, thinking, learning and growing.
I’m an executive with a penchant for “doing it right” – I just want to get it done, and I successfully foster my teams to the same methodology. We operate in explicit communication so that nothing is left implied, and that includes trust. I hire those with a passion for their work and together we build robust, scalable and effective environments, fostering automation and always working within the purview of our users.
Doing my job is a passion – which isn’t a bad thing when you are being paid for it. The joy of having a hyperactive mind is being able to use it and be paid. Normal I am not, nor do I have any desire to be since normal is a definition of ‘average’ to me, and I am anything but average – in fact the bar is so high only I can reach it.
No challenge is too big; no bar set too high; no industry too diverse; no information out of reach. If it can be done, I can do it.
